Nigerian Pastors Who were former Moslems

Nigeria is home to a lot of churches. One cannot help but wonder why the myriads of churches flooding the cities, towns and villages. With a population of about 200million people, Nigeria can easily take the lead as the country with the most number of churches in the world.

Some of the founders of these Christian denominations were previously Muslims before they heard and accepted the call to start their own churches.

He was born as Ahmed Ashimolowo in Kaduna to Muslim parents. He is the Founder/Senior Pastor of Kingsway International Christian Centre(KICC)

REV. PAUL JINADU - founder of the New Covenant Church


Born in Lagos, the founder of the New Covenant Church, Rev. Paul Jinadu was a devout Muslim from childhood.

REV. GEORGE ADEGBOYE - Founder of Rhema Chapel International Churches

His father was a Muslim, who later became a Christian. Rev. George Adegboye is the Founder of Rhema Chapel International Churches.
